Peter Droogers, director of FutureWater, has been appointed as Editor of the scientific journal Agricultural Water Management. The journal publishes papers of international significance relating to the science, economics, and policy of agricultural water management.

Peter responded to his nomination that “this appointment is a wonderful reflection of our scientific work at FutureWater over the last ten years”.

As Editor Peter will be responsible for the policy of the Journal and the evaluation and review process of submitted manuscripts. In particular Peter will be responsible for sections on modeling, remote sensing and quantitative research approaches on water in agriculture.
